Mary Taylor-Ennis | Director
Mary L. Taylor-Ennis raised her son and then completed her degree at Morgan State University, attending college at the same time as her son, who studied at Howard University. After earning her Ph.D. in clinical psychology from the Catholic University of America, she worked in the foster care system and later opened the Institute of Life Enrichment clinic in Baltimore City before starting her private practice.
For over 25 years, she helped diverse clients reach their full potential and make important life decisions. She worked to educate the African American community about the value of mental health treatment. Dr. Taylor-Ennis has taught at multiple universities, including Morgan State University and the University of Baltimore.
In 2021, she decided to retire but continues to see seven clients. She is a member of the American Psychological Association and the Maryland Psychological Association. In 2023, she joined the League of Women Voters to assist with the voting process.
